About Druid Hills, GA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Positioned about five miles outside of Downtown Atlanta, Druid Hills is home to many notable Atlanta residents. The neighborhoods in this community are stunning and home architecture styles include Georgian, Tudor, Jacobean, Italian Renaissance, and early 20th Century Victorian. Emory University, in Druid Hills, is the third largest employer in Metro Atlanta. The weather and landscapes are as varied as the amazing and well-known people that call Druid Hills home. Though it is definitely an expensive neighborhood it is not stuffy and people are quite friendly.

The town’s main employers are Emory University and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The planned community was initially conceived with the effort of Atlanta's most important families and it contains some of Atlanta's most historic and stunning mansions from the late 19th and early 20th century. If you are interested in getting outside in the warmer months, then you are in luck as the town has many recreational opportunities. The parks along Ponce de Leon Avenue are considered to be the crowning jewels of this lovely, upscale community. They were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

If you want to play some golf on a really amazing course, then Cherokee Run Golf Club is located in the nearby town of Conyers. Nestled in the gently sloping hills in the Georgia International Horse Park, this destination golf course was designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay of the Arnold Palmer Design Group. Since its opening in 1995, golfers from all over the planet have played the superb course. Operating as a cit course and daily-play facility, the course (18-hole, 72 par, with a 143 slope, 7,016 yards and a 75.1 rating) offers exceptional experiences for golfers. The clubhouse features an upscale golf shop, eatery, and special event facility. Golfing is a favorite pastime for local Druid Hills residents – particularly in the spring and fall – when the weather is warm, but not blisteringly hot.
